About myself
“Hi, my name is Tara, I’m 30 years old and I’m coming from Manchester, England. Over the years I’ve struggled with my weight a lot and I’ve lost weight but also gained the weight back quite easily. One of the things I’ve struggled with the most is losing my little mom tummy.
After I had Finley who is my son, he is 10 years old, so it’s something I’ve been thinking about a long time now. So, I’ve done a lot of research online. I’ve joined a lot of groups on Facebook who had surgery abroad and there was one name that kept popping up. In particular, quite a lot and it was a company called FlyHealth. A lot of women had their procedure done with them and the photos before and after looked great.
So, I went to the FlyHealth website and I contacted them via WhatsApp. They got back to me straight away it was really quick and very efficient. My contact person told me everything I wanted to know, every question was answered.
Communication with FlyHealth
I’ve sent them the photos of myself via WhatsApp and the lady passed them onto the surgeon and got back to me within 24 hours and got back to me.
She said: “Yeah, we can do the surgery, no problem, this will be the cost” and we went through my medical history and I paid a deposit. A week later, here I am!
Arrival to Turkey with no problems
I flew over on Tuesday night and the minute we got to the airport there was a man waiting to transfer us to the hospital. From leaving the airport to getting to the hotel took us half on hour really. And the hotel was lovely. Nice with big room two double beds. Besides, I’ve brought a friend with me for just a bit of support so that was nice.
On the day of surgery
In the early morning at about 7 am, we were met with Ozzy. Who was our host for the duration of the stay. He’s been really great, his English is brilliant, anything I needed to now he has helped me with. He watched doors to the hospital which is literary 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Obviously that was the first morning that I’ve met the surgeon. He drew me up and everything and we talked about anything I wanted to be answered.
Surgery Time with FlyHealth
The surgery lasted 5 hours. When I woke up I spent 2 days in the hospital. In the meantime. Ozzy was always there by the phone, if I needed anything I just texted him and he was really efficient in getting back to me. Obviously, after 2 nights at the hospital I’ve got back to the hotel and now we are here 6 days post-op and I feel great. I’ve just been at the hospital this morning to have my final check-up and everything was great. I’m going back home tomorrow.
