What is Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that involves altering the bone and cartilage elements of the nose to improve its appearance.

Nasal aesthetics, also known as nasoplasty and rhinoplasty, is one of the most common cosmetic procedures. Rhinoplasty is a procedure that corrects nose defects that are either congenital, develop later in life, or result from trauma. While a deformity can be treated just because it causes aesthetic discomfort in rare situations, it may also need to be corrected because it causes issues in most people, such as respiratory illnesses.

Regardless of the reason for the cosmetic procedure, the fundamental goal of rhinoplasty is to ensure that the nasal airway functions properly at the conclusion of the procedure. One or more operations, such as reshaping the nose (reconstruction), removing abnormalities, or changing the shape of a part of it, may be performed during the procedure.

Rhinoplasty is a difficult procedure that can be performed on both men and women. It takes 6 to 12 months to completely attain the desired result. Minor adjustments may be required for certain patients after surgery to get the appropriate form.

Why is Rhinoplasty Performed?

Rhinoplasty can be done for cosmetic or functional reasons. The presence of breathing issues owing to a congenital or later developed abnormality in the nose is one of the causes of rhinoplasty. It could be a noticeable deformity or a flaw in the inner part of the nose that is not visible from the outside that causes breathing issues. The second reason is that the person is unhappy with his nose’s appearance and wishes to have a different nose.

Rhinoplasty surgery is required for a variety of causes, including a curve or protrusion in the bony component of the nose, cartilage malformations, an abnormally big nose, and asymmetry in the nasal anatomy. In surgeries performed for aesthetic reasons, personal tastes have a role.

While some people want a different nose image while having a typical nose structure, others may prefer a different nose image despite having a huge or protruding nose. As a result, rhinoplasty surgeries are relatively prevalent and can be performed for a variety of reasons, including health issues or personal preferences.

Before the surgery, she went to the clinic for the 3D animation of her. They took her photos to show her how she will look after the surgery. They edited her photos to discuss the surgery. They decided how will she look after the surgery. And then finally she met her doctor. Her doctor told her everything about her surgery and her nose. He explained everything about the process. Also, she told the doctor everything she wanted about her nose. At that point, she was scared of her surgery but her doctor made her feel relaxed about it.

After all, she came to our office to tell us everything about the process.

Our Patient’s Answer: Yes. I had tip correction but I didn’t see any result after that so I was looking for something. It was two years ago in Lithuania.

Our Patient’s Answer: Of course, I wasn’t because I am a young girl of course I was scared.

Our Patient’s Answer: Yes, you help me a lot. My representer, he showed me how do I look like after de surgery.

Our Translator: So you were scared because of coming alone.

Our Patient’s Answer: Yes, because it’s Turkey and everybody says Turkey is a dangerous country but it’s not at all. It’s a good European country.

Our Translator: Yes and also you stayed in a nice place that’s safe.

Our Patient’s Answer: I stayed European side of the city. I don’t feel a big difference.
