He studied in TED Ankara College between 1975-1986. He then got enrolled to the Ankara University where he studied for his medical degree in 1986-1992. He had several trainings in UK during this period.

During his education he was qualified of USMLE in the USA and he achieved the title of specialized plastic surgeon in July 1998. He worked as Clinical Fellow with Dr. Ian T. between 1998-1999. In 1999, he started working in Gazi University as a lecturer and became docent in 2001. He was enrolled in surgical assistance program during 2003-2004.

In 2010 he became a professor. He wrote over 140 articles in national and international publications. His publications received citations from all over the world.

He has worked as a plastic surgeon in USA Michigan for 5 years and also worked in Nigeria and Ghana on dark skin patients.
